Steve,

I didn’t see us on the list of schools.

We are a Quaker PK - 12 day and boarding school located just outside of Washington DC.

Thanks!

I am a parent at an independent school, and I am interested in how the school could continue to grow its social media presence. However, I am concerned about pictures of young children being even more visible out there in cyberspace. Of course, our website has pictures of some of our students on there. I'm curious how other people view this concern?

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in Bellefontaine, OH, a career-technical school district, utilizes Facebook. We use a profile page, though, not a fan page. http://facebook.com/ohiohipoint

Interesting way Calvert School added online catalog to their facebook page -- page of the month. Do you know if they used Scene7 for the application. I tried to contact them, but received no response.

Betsye - great idea about schools on Twitter. Turns out that Demetri Orlando (@Demetri) maintains a Twitter account that feeds IS Twitter-ers: <http://twitter.com/indyschools/following> - so that it a good place to start. Thanks to @traviswarren for reminding me about that resource.
