A couple of weeks ago I went into a meeting ready to pitch the big social media initiatives I thought our school needed in the coming admission cycle.

An hour later, not having got past “But what is Twitter?” and my pitch in flames I decided some kind of social media PSA was urgently required.

Using Twitter and a wiki to leverage an active community of contributors I was able to quickly and efficiently collect an impressive reading list explaining social media to school leaders.
