Join us on February 3, 2010 at St. Christopher’s School, Richmond, VA for a social media bootcamp experience.

This full day workshop provides an in-depth introduction to social media technology for school leaders, and administrators, complete with an opportunity to create content and get your hands dirty.

Listen to recent Bootcamp participants talk about their experiences:

It’s no secret that people are flocking to social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube…

According to research done by Universal McCann:

  • 394 million people watch video clips online
  • 346 million read blogs/weblogs
  • 272 million manage a profile on a social network
  • 216 million Download a video podcast…

And…

Twitter grew over 75 percent just from February to March and Facebook grew over 20 percent in the same period. (Neilson)

US Internet users watched 12.7 billion online videos in November. (Comscore)

82% of US teens ages 12 to 17 and 43.5% of children ages 3 to 11 will use the Internet on a monthly basis in 2009. (eMarketer)

76% of all U.S. broadband users actively contribute to social media sites, and 29% contribute regularly to social networks. (Netpop Research)
