		<description>Very interesting, Melanie - I would also have thought YouTube... we have a three part strategy for archiving our live broadcasts.

While a show is being broadcast we are able to record it from within Livestream with all transitions, titles and other media.

Then we can make the most recent show our &#039;auto pilot&#039; so folks who visit our channel or embedded player have something recent to watch.

We make these shows (in their entirety or in small clips) available in our &#039;on demand&#039; section of our channel.  So if you come to our channel page on livestream or to our embedded player then you can look back and watch old shows.

The third part which we haven&#039;t done yet, but are considering doing for next semester is downloading the shows out of Livestream and uploading them to another video hosting site like vimeo or youtube.  the advantage of this we see is to drive more eyeballs to our live show.

One downside of this for us would be the extra time spent uploading and also we are broadcasting at a fairly mediocre video quality (perfectly fine for live, but not that great for recorded), so we would need to consider taping our shows and editing them prior to upload.

I&#039;d be interested to hear what you have learned on the flip project.  I believe our audience is largely high school students, recent alumni and their parents.</description>
