Live Webstreaming Walkthrough with Hans Mundahl!

Presenter:
Hans Mundahl, Director of Experiential Learning and Technology Coordinator, New Hampton School

Session Overview:
The New Hampton School regularly streams arts, athletics and student produced content live over the internet. Incoporating three possible broadcast locations, multiple cameras and mics at each location, pre-recorded content and a teleprompter NHS’s technical setup is robust, simple enough to operate with a small crew, and was relatively inexpensive to build. Topics in this webinar will include cameras and mics, wiring, audio and video mixing, flash encoding, student helpers, streaming services, post production and archiving. Whenever possible specific model numbers, part numbers and vendors will be detailed. There are many possible configurations for live web broadcasting, this session will explore one solution that works in detail.
