Program Focus
1. The Shifting Landscape of School Marketing: How can we use inbound marketing strategies as a tool to spread word-of-mouth among parents and throughout the broader community?
2. Implementing the Strategies: What are the specific steps you need to take to make the most of inbound school marketing?
3. Telling Your School’s Stories effectively on the Web: What strategies can you develop that will help you create and maintain remarkable content capable of telling — and selling — your school’s unique story?
edSocialMedia will lead the afternoon session as we tackle a Facebook mini-bootcamp.
Brendan and Rick will illustrate how to build a successful marketing and communications plan, and we will shift towards a hands-on afternoon, testing the ideas you’ve discovered throughout the day.
Concurrently with the timely shift of Facebook’s Timeline implementation, we will explore the new (and old) administrative powers to keep your page fresh and lively. If you’re not a Facebook administrator for a page, we’ll show you tips and tricks that will quickly get your school page off the ground!

Presenters
Rick Newberry, Ph.D., is the President of Enrollment Catalyst. Rick partners with school administrators to provide coaching and consulting in enrollment management and marketing systems, strategies, and solutions needed to reach their goals. The goal is to provide school leaders with effective marketing and enrollment strategies as well as staff accountability, direction and results needed to grow their enrollment.
