edSocialMedia is finalizing the workshop and seminar schedule for current school year and is seeking conveniently located schools to host upcoming events.
An ideal location has several independent schools located within driving distance. To best facilitate our edSocialMedia working method, the school should have a networked meeting or presentation space to comfortably accommodate 30-35 people with their laptops. The ideal school would also have sufficient space for a working lunch.
Host schools receive a number of great benefits, in addition to a short commute. The host school becomes the backdrop for pictures, videos and posts throughout the entirety of the workshop, creating exposure and social chatter about the host school. Additionally, promotions, tweets and posts will contain the school’s name and website. Talk with us to hear more.

“The work that we were able to do at the edSocialMedia Bootcamp propelled our school into thinking about a 360-degree approach to working with students and reaching out to our extended community. Not only did we have innovative work in the classroom (i.e., podcasts, blogs, posted pictures, alumni Facebook page, etc.), but we also are thinking about and anticipating what’s next in Web 2.0 land.”-Brian ThomasHead, Lafayette CampusBentley School
“The Los Angeles edSocialMedia Bootcamp that Windward hosted was absolutely critical in getting our teachers and admins on-board with social media. Our department could explain it, but the ESM presenters put the tools in their hands, gave a little guidance, and let them play. Now they’re believers. And we met a bunch of great people from other schools – we’re really in the discovery together.”
