Benefits of hosting seminars
Reduced rate for host-school attendees: The host school receives five complimentary registrations for the event and additional spaces for the host school can be purchased.
Exposure: edSocialMedia will promote the school as the host of the event, including a profile, tweets and links to the school website. Additionally, hosting edSocialMedia seminars elevates the host school’s status as the leading regional facilitator of professional development in social media.
An ideal host is in a location with several schools within driving distance. There should be a networked meeting/presentation space for 30-35 people to work comfortably with laptops and move around.
Depending on the presenter, the school may be responsible for a portion of the speaker’s travel expenses. We also ask that the school provide beverages, snacks and lunch for attendees. Please fill out our inquiry form for more information about hosting a bootcamp.
Attending an ESM bootcamp
Other edSocialMedia bootcamps and seminars are being held across the country. See the events page for a location near you.
